Until August 20, at "Sa Llonja" in Palma an exhibition of paintings and
sculptures by Gerard Matas (Palma, 1946) can be seen. This exhibition
closes the cycle called "Trajectòries. Del 1970 al 2000" started last
March 9, the participants of which have been: Àngel San Martín, Vicenç
Torres, Ramon Canet, Pep Canyelles, Joan Bennàssar and Gerard Matas. The
Council for Culture of the Balearic Government have organised this cycle
to offer a panoramic view of six of the Island's artists who started
their exhibition activity in the seventies and who are in full
evolution.
