"Serenates d'Estiu" at the Bellver Castle

The Bellver Castle will be scene, yet another year, of the International Music Festival, "Serenates d'Estiu" (Summer Serenades), organised by Joventuts Musicals of Palma, sponsored by the Palma town council. The cycle, that celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, includes five concerts with the following programme:

August 3, at 10 p.m.: World Yourth Choir.
August 8, at 10 p.m.: Joshua Bell (violin) and Simon Mulligan (piano).
August 15, at 10 p.m.: New London Consort. Dir. Philip Pickett.
August 22, at 10.30 p.m.: Chamber Orchestra Nes. Dir. Dimitry Sitkovetsky.
August 29, at 10 p.m.: Academy St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble.
