The Mallorca Free Flight Club, Spanish hang gliding champions

From June 16 to 24 on the Jabalcon hill at Zujar (Granada), the Spanish Hang Gliding championship was held, organised by the Jabalcon Free Flight Club and sponsored by the Spanish Royal Aeronautic Federation.

According to Web Esport, the Mallorcan Free Flight Club obtained the Spanish Champion Title for Hang Gliding out of a total of 29 participating teams. The Mallorcan team was comprised of Rafel Borràs (subchampion for Spain in 1999), Carlos Puñet, Jaume Martorell and Enrique Sancho, and they obtained a total of 7,201 points, 119 more than the second team, the Roadrunner Club of Madrid, in an exciting final.
