ABCsexologia.com: sexology on Internet

A group of health professionals, doctors and psychologists specialist in sexology, have created ABCsexologia.com with a view to offering on internet a rigorous and scientific vision of sexuality, without ignoring its ludic aspects. The new electronic publication edited in Spanish intends to become the most complete web page on sexology in Spain and Latin America.

The director and webmaster of ABC sexology is José Manuel Valverde, who practices medicine at the Health Centre Muntanya at Pla de na Tesa in Marratxí, and amongst other activities, writes a monthly article on sexology in the magazine Salut i Força, as well as taking part in the TV programme of the same name on Canal 4.

The team of ABC sexology forms part of the Instituto de Sexología, Psicología y Medicina Espill based in Valencia, Castellón, Elche, Motril and Palma de Mallorca; of the Sociedad Balear de Sexología, presided by Joan Mir Pizá; of the Federación Española de Sociedades de Sexología (FESS), based in Valencia and the Feración Latinoamericana de Sociedades de Sexología y Educación.

Amongst the multiple contents of the web, there are important sections dedicated to sexual techniques (touching and stroking, kissing, oral sex, sexual postures, the G zone) and the relationship between sex and culture (sexual anatomy, sexual response, aphrodisiacs, sexual dictionary, art gallery, sexual games, homosexualities, paraphilias, prostitution). Special attention is also due to the sections dedicated to sexual disfunctions (impotence, premature ejaculation, vaginism, anorgasm), to reproduction (contraception, pregnancy, abortion & miscarriages, birth) and sexual health (sexual hygiene, safe sex, problems and illnesses, VIH-AIDS, alcohol and sex, drugs and sex, virginity). Finally the section dedicated to sexual myths.

ABC sexología offers, also, free online consulting and a section dedicated to the most frequent questions (FAQs) made by users.
