The collection of 100 etchings by Pablo Picasso, known as Suite Vollard,
will be on show in the temporary art show hall of the Museu d'Art
Espanyol Contemporani de la
Fundación Juan March in Calle Sant Miquel,
11 in Palma until October 11.
This series of etchings takes its name from the the dealer, Ambroise
Vollard, for whom Picasso did these copper etchings between 1930 and
1937.
The Museu d'Art Espanyol Contemporani holds an important permanent
collection of paintings and sculptures of the XX century: Picasso,
Dalí, Miró, Tàpies, Chillida, Barceló, A. López, etc.
Visiting hours are from Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.;
Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.; Sundays and bankholidays closed.
Tickets 500 pesetas with a discount for students and groups, free for
residents of the Balearics.
