"arrels": exhibition by Mateu Sabater

On September 18 at 7 p.m. the exhibition "arrels" by Mateu Sabater will open at the Club Diario de Mallorca in the Polígono de Levante in Palma. The exhibition, that can be visited until October 6, will include approximately a dozen small format works, selected from the most recent works by the artist.

Mateu Sabater was born in Bunyola in 1969. Over the past ten years he has carried out a continuous task of creation, experiment and producing a large number of works that have been shown in different parts of Mallorca, especially in Palma but also in Bunyola, Bendinat, Estellencs and Llucmajor.

About a year ago, for his 30th birthday, Mateu Sabater presented the book "Mateu Sabater, trenta anys 1969-1999" for the exhibition he held at the Celler de Cas Casper, coinciding with the Llucmajor 1999 fair. Meanwhile, more recently, he presented on Internet an exhibition with almost 200 works carried out in his new studio in Molinar.
