Cinema: U-571, second world war and submarines
U-571 is a production by Dino and Martha De Laurentiis, directed by Jonathon Mostow, and interpreted in the main parts by Matthew McConaughey, Bill Paxton, Harvey Keitel and Jon Bon Jovi.

The film (www.u-571.com) is an example of what some people call the "submarine films". The story line is based on the Second World War, at a time when the German fleet is winning the match against the allies thanks to a communications system called Enigma.

U-571 is showing currently in Catalan at the Multicines Chaplin in Palma, within the programmed "Catalan films in the Balearics", promoted by the General Direction for Linguist Policy of the Department for Education and Culture of the Balearic Government.

The film can be seen in Spanish in other cinemas in Palma: Metropolitan Multicines, Multicines Porto Pi and Sala Augusta.
