The Foundation "La Caixa" will soon start their autumn season with the
cycle of "Músiques del Món", that will include five concerts by artists
from around the world.
The first concert, Friday September 29, will be dedicated
to Flamencan
music by the singer dancer Pepa de Benito. On October 10 it will be
India's turn, with the concert called "Youngsters of today, musicians of
tomorrow" that will be performed by a group of youngsters from
Rajasthan. On October 13, Said Chraibi (laud) and Jamal Rioui
(percussion) will approach us to the music from Morocco. On October 21,
the voice, presence and talent of Kimmo Pohjonen will come from
Finland, accompanied by his accordion. And finally, on October 27, there
will be Greek music by Angélique Lonatos (vocal and guitar) and Henri
Agnel (laud and percussion).
All the concerts will take place at 8 p.m. in the head office of the
Foundation La Caixa in Palma, Plaza Weyler, 3.
