Pere Colom: Artistic Photographer on the net

The well known photographer, Pere Colom, has a full sample of his work on the net, including recent works carried out with photographic emulsions and Polaroid transfers on papers made by hand. The topics are portraits, nudes, flowers......

Born in Sóller in 1955, Pere Colom has always had a feeling for art. When he was 16 he started in the world of music, playing in several rock bands and collaborating for 7 years with the resident Deia musician, Kevin Ayers.

In 1985 and after several magazine became interested in his work, amongst these PHOTO, he decided to set up his own studio, where he works in fashion, advertising, interior design..., collaborating with brands such as Albaladejo Shoes, Kollflex, Tony Mora Boots, Nobilin, etc., and also in international magazines.

His artistic work has been exhibited in prestigious art galleries, cultural centres and museums all over the world, and he has received several prizes for his creations. In 1996 he published the book "El Silenci del Temps", Col·lecció Fotògrafs a les Illes, edited by "Sa Nostra", with texts by Alexandre Ballester.
