Pollença Fair: artisan, animals, autochthonous products...

Pollença celebrates this weekend its autumn fair: the "Fira de Pollença". Within the programme of events, worth mentioning are the celebration of the "Fira d'Artesania" that includes a wide example of works carried out by the artisans of Pollença- The "Fira d'Aresania", that commemorates its XVII edition this year, will open on Saturday, November 11 at 10 a.m. in the Cloister of the Convent, and can be visited until Monday 13th, at 8 p.m. On Saturday, at the same time, in the Calle del Convent the "VII Fira de Comerciants" will open; and in the Via Pollentia, the exhibition of autochthonous products, environment and gardening, that will also remain open all weekend.

Within the Fair Programme, on Sautday two exhibitions will be opened: the tribute to Miquel Salas in the municipal museum of Pollença and the photographic exhibition "Les Illes de la Llum" in the Guillem Cifre de Colonya cultural centre. The day will end with the ethnic music concert by the groups Burn Out and Calenda Maia (winners of the Ethnic Music competition Art Jove 2000).

The 'main course' for Sunday will be the "X Mostra d'Animals Autòctons", organised by the Cooperativa Pagesa de Pollença and the exhibition of horses that will take place in the calle Bartomeu Alohy as from 10 a.m.
