The Caixa Foundation in Palma is holding the "V Curs de Pensament i Cultura Clàssica" organised by the Balearic Section of the Sociedad Española de Estudios Clásicos and the Department of Philosophy of the Balearic University.

The aim of this fifth course, that will continue until May 2001, is to offer, with the participation of the best specialists, a panorama of the most significant works of the Grecolatin Literature, to inform on their interpretive codes and promote their reading.
