Cinema: The Road to el Dorado

Next Friday, December 15, in the whole of Spain there will be the premier of "The road to el Dorado", cartoon film produced by "Dream Works", Steven Spielberg's company. Among the technical team of the film that saw a prepremier in Mallorca last November 16 in the International Film Festival of the Balearics, there is the Mallorcan Marc Mateu, in charge of illumination.

Directed by Enric "Bibo" Bergeron and Don Paul, the "Road to el Dorado" tells a story of friendship and adventures that will thrill the whole family. The stars are two amusing characters, Tulio and Miguel, a pair of thirdrate crooks who believe that have found the road to glory and fortune, when the map of the legendary gold town, El Dorado, falls into their hands.

The film will be seen in Mallorca, both in Castillian and Catalan, within the framework of the programme "Films in Catalan of the Balearics" promoted by the General Direction of Linguistic Policy of the Department of Education and Culture of the Balearic Government.
