The Centre Cultural "
Sa Nostra", calle Concepció, 12 in Palma, is holding until January 27, 2001, the exhibition "Pierrick
Sorin" in which the artist presents his images in motion.
Pierrick Sorin (Nantes 1960) is interested in both images themselves and the effect that they generate in the viewer. According
to Biel Amer: "Pierrick Sorin recovers with his work the pleasure of looking, which amuses and seduces with genius. Each new
work represents a plastic approach that drinks of both painting and sculpture, keeping alive the most avid contemporary idea of
his proposals. We are not viewing a video artist but rather just an artist, genuine and radical, contemporary and romantic,
eccentric and tender."
As from February, the exhibition will be transferred to the Sa Nostra cultural centres in Ibiza, Mahon and Ciutadella
consecutively.
