The Convent of the Caputxines, in Calle Caputxines, 14 in Palma, is showing their exhibition of "Els Betlems de les Caputxines i
altres exposicions", for the fifth year and this can be visited until January 10, 2001.
This year, as well as the typical nativity scenes, antique figures and figures cut in cardboard, they are also showing a restored
figure of Christ from the school of Miquel Bestard (XVII c) and an anonymous painting of the Adoration of the Kings (XVIIc).
The complementary exhibition for this Christmas is "The toys and means of locomotion", from the private collection of Elizabeth
Laquière and Jacques Chevalier, residents in Mallorca for many years. These are toys that represent different kinds of
locomotion machinery, cars, trams, trains, bicycles, motorbikes, boats, planes, etc.
Visiting hours every day except December 25 and January 1: from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and 5 to 8.30 p.m. Donation entrance
