kind of environment do we want our children and grandchildren to inherit?
Thesse questions are the starting point, according to the European Commissioner
for the Environment,

Wallström, for the Sixth Environment Action Programme
Environment
2010: Our Future, Our Choice, which the
European
Commission has proposed to the
Member
States and the
European Parliament.
The new programme focuses on four major areas for action climate change,
health and the environment, nature and bio-diversity and natural resource
management, stressing the importance of involving citizens and business
in innovative ways.
The
Green
Week, that will take place in Brussels form April 24 to 28, is designed
to publicise the Sixth Environment Action Programme, bringing the
European
Union environmental policies closer to the citizens.
