Javier Garcés: oil paintings on iron

The artist Javier Garcés is presenting a collection of paintings on iron at the Galeria Mediterrània, calle Sant Martí, 1 in Palma, from March 9 to 31.

According to Clara Garí: "Xavier Garcés presents a magnificent collection of paintings on iron that portray the sculptor and artist. The reflections, the blacks and background light substitute colour that would correspond to the painting. It is a pictorial work that has taken resources from sculpture."

Javier Garcés Ruiz (Zaragoza, 1959), graduate in Fine Arts, has a workshop installed in the Catalan town, La Bisbal, and has participated since 1985 in numerous individual and collective exhibitions.
