La Puta OPP at the Sala Sonotone

The Sala Sonotone in Palma (Plaça Gomila) will hold next Saturday, March 17, as from 10 p.m., a concert by La Puta OPP. The entertaining Mallorcan band will present their latest record "Los Cuñaos del Fonk" edited by Yo Gano. This is their third record, after their debut album "Vacaciones en el mar" (Yo Gano, 1996), and the successful maxi "Batalla de cazalla" (Yo Gano, 1998).

"La Puta OPP", founded in Mallorca in 1990, has a solid and original musical style with elements from Reggae and Hip Hop and Jamaican rhythms. They are also characteristic for their lyrics, with ironic and even satiric words, that preserve their freshness and rebel spirit.

The Sala Sonotone will hold another concert, on Friday March 16, by "The Nash", that is also a group from Mallorca.
