2nd Record Fair

On May 5 and 6 at the exhibition hall of Fires i Congressos in Palma there will be the "2a Fira del Disc", supported by the public institutions, communication media and private sponsors.

The Fair will comprise some hundred exhibitors from the Islands, the Spanish mainland, Europa and America, who will sell CDs, LPs, instruments, clothes, books, etc. There will also be various exhibitions, a stage for performances, by Alaska /& Fangoria, Los Salvajes and Cooper, as well as the island groups The Zinedines, The Nash, Mineral Water, Blues Devils, El Diablo en el Ojo and The Mostros; a television plateau and a radio studio to record and live connections; and finally a great auction of objects relating to the world of music.

At the same time there will be a cycle of conferences at the Fundación la Caixa, the days prior to the Fair; and the Festival "I.O.M Weekend" that will take place at the Sala Sonotone, on Friday night, May 4, with the presence of important DJs and groups specialising in the 60s.
