Book Day and VI anniversary of the Centre Cultural Pollença

Pollença is celebrating as from next Monday, April 23, coinciding with Saint George's Day, the sixth anniversary of the Centre Cultural Pollença, with different cultural activities for all ages connected to books. So, on April 23, the traditional "Book Market" will open at the Cultural Centre, and will remain open until April 28 from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

At the same time there will be activities aimed at schools, such as workshops for poetry, comics, fairy tales, "puppets and fables", children's theatre, etc.

Other activities for the Book Day and the anniversary of the Cultural Centre are a literary conference called "La literatura i jo", given by Maria Antònia Oliver, on Thursday 26 at 8.30 p.m. at the Cultural Centre; the family session dedicated to Fairy Tales and Educational Case at the Pollença library on Saturday 28 at 11.30 a.m.
