Lluís Fuster and Dario Basso at the Galeria Maior

The Galeria Maior, Plaça Major, 4 in Pollença, is holding from April 8 till May 6 two individual exhibitions dedicated to the work by two artists, Lluís Fuster and Dario Basso.

With the title, "Intimitat" the Mallorcan photographer, Lluis Fuster, presents work started in 1999. It consists in photographs of doors of hotel rooms "where I have slept, eaten, played, read, lucubrated, copulated, defecated, urinated, dreamt; and where I have showered, cut, shaved, perfumed, washed, brushed, consoled, etc., etc., etc...".

"Equinoccial" is the title of the exhibition by Dario Basso (Caracas, 1966) in which he presents paintings and large photographs. After experimenting with photography, installations and punk music, the artist chose painting as life and travel as the starting point for the start of his creative process. According to Basso, "Work for me defined as equinoctial painting, is work referring to all the possible information that nature can give in its most triumphant expression such as the rain forests. I take nature not as a field of vegetable information but rather as creative..."
