Campos: May fair

The programme for the "Fira de Maig 2001 de Campos" started last Friday and will continue until Sunday 12th, the day of the Fair. On Friday, at 8pm the "II Food Fair" will start and will be open on Saturday and Sunday, from 10.30am to 3pm and from 8 to 11pm. During the day there will be street parades, sporting activities and two concerts: One by the Municipal Band, and one by Arpellots Havaneres Band.

On Saturday the "V Mostra Fet a Campos" (products made in Campos), organised by the Chamber of Commerce of Campos, that can be visited over the weekend. There will also be "xeremiers" (bagpipes), competitions, a gathering of young artists, games for all the family, etc. The programme for Saturday will end with a concert by Els Valldemossa and a the party "Pastura de Nit", organised by the Youth group.

On Sunday, the Fair will include a display of carriages, hunting dogs, horses, birds, etc. The exhibitions will be complemented with street shows, bagpipers and horse parades. At night there will be a popular dance with the musical groups Capocorb, Brot de Taparera and Migjorn.
