The exhibition "Miquel Àngel Colomar 1903-1970" at the
Sa
Nostra Cultural Centre in Palma, until June 9.
Miquel Àngel Colomar, journalist, writer, poet and artist, was
a modern intellectual who influenced culture in the 20's and 30's in Palma,
up until he was put in prison and not allowed to work as a journalist.
The exhibition unites figurative paintings and portraits by the artist,
portraits of Colomar by other artists and some documents and objects belonging
to Colomar.
The Mallorcan publishing house Calima has recently printed the novel
"Polly quiere una galleta" by Miquel Àngel Colomar, it will be presented
today at the exhibition.
