The GOB against the presence of the Enterprise

The GOB has asked president Antich to urge the nuclear aircraft carrier "Enterprise" to leave Balearic waters immediately.

The boat of the US Navy anchored in the Bay of Palma unexpectedly. Their web site does not offer any information, as only the front page is working.

According to the ecologist organization, article Nº 8 of the Energetic Plan, which was approved recently by the Balearic Government, says that the production of nuclear energy is forbidden in all the territorial area of the Balearic Islands.

The GOB has requested the Balearic Government and its president to formally oppose the presence of the nuclear aircraft carrier in the waters of the Bay of Palma. More over the GOB also asks the tourist sector to protest against the presence of the aircraft carrier.
