Fiestas for Sant Pere in Alaró

This weekend there will be fiestas for Sant Pere in Alaró, that this year will include the novelty of the visit by the giants of Alaró, Cabrit and Bassa, the stars of the legend that took place in the Alaró castle at the end of the XIII century. The parade of the giants with the drum band and children's dance "Dimonis" will be the opening events of the fiestas on Thursday June 28 at 8.30 p.m.

On Friday at 7.30 p.m. there will be choir concert in the Cloister of Sa Bastida and at 10 p.m. open air cinema in the plaza Cabrit i Bassa. On Saturday the associations and restaurants of Alaró will offer their popular cuisine and after the dinner there will be a popular dance. On Sunday July 1, at 6.30 p.m. the traditional "Correguda de Joies" will take place followed by the childrend's entertainment by Botibauxa. At 10 p.m. theatre by Xamo-Xamo and at 11.30 p.m. firecracker end to the fiestas.
