Research Grants about the Natural Park Sa Dragonera

The Consell de Mallorca published on June 2 in the Butlletí Oficial de les Illes Balears the 3rd announcement for Research Grants on the Natural Park Sa Dragonera.

There are four research grants each for 300,000 pesetas with a view to financing research projects on the Dragonera Natural Park. The topics included are:

- The natural media: studies relating to the physical media, fauna, flora, natural communities, etc.

- Human media: studies relating to archaeology, history, legends, toponymy, etc.

Priority will be given to work that are related to the objectives of the Natural Park foreseen in the Decree 7/1995 of January 26, in which Sa Dragonera was declared a natural park and that have a practical application to its administration and preservation.

Applications must be presented before Friday, June 22 and the work should be presented before December 1, 2001.
