This week
Documenta Balear
presents two new books.
The first, on Wednesday July 11, at 6.30 p.m. at the Cultural Centre
Sa
Nostra in la calle Concepció in Palma, with the book "El
quefer ocult. El mercat de treball de la dona a la Mallorca contemporània",
by Joana Maria Escartín.
With attendance by : Francisca Mas, director of the
Institut
Balear de la Dona; Esperança Bosch, codirector of the
Universitat
d'Estiu d'Estudis de Gènere, Cristina Carrasco, head professor
in economic theory at the
Universitat
de Barcelona, and Joana Maria Escartín, author of the book.
The second, on Thursday July 19, at 8.30 p.m. at the Sala de Cultura
in the Plaça Nova in Santa Maria de Camí, with the book "Rosa
Roig. Biografia d’una pedagoga (1890-1969)", by Francesca Comas
and Maria- Isabel Miró.
Attendance by: Pere Fullana,
director
general de Presidencia of the Balearic Government; Melcior Rosselló,
former director of the escuela anexa a la Normal de Balears, and Francesca
Comas and Maria- Isabel Miró, authors of the book.
The book is fruit of the collaboration between the editorial Documenta
Balear and Edicions El Mèdol (Tarragona).
