Elektrozine Ibiza 2001

The Asociación Cinematográfica Pithyusa (ACP) organizes the third Elektrozine Ibiza, an International Independent documentary & short film Festival that takes place annually in Eivissa.

Elektrozine takes a stand for what we could call "electronic cinema": a medium which combines photographic & electronically generated images with the flexibility and low production costs allowed by digital video postproduction procedures, key to the development of a true independent cinema.

During the five days of the Festival (October 23 to 27, 2001), short films and documentaries will be shown in different formats: video (analogic & digital) and film (16 & 35 mm.). Parallel to the development of the festival workshops & digital filmmaking equipment presentations will take place
