Sant Llorenç patron fiestas

The activities included in the "Festes patronals de Sant Llorenç des Cardassar 2001" will start on August 9 and will continue until August 15 with a complete programme coordinated by the town hall, including music, sports, a night fair, horses, street entertainment, children activities, theatre...

The most outstanding activities are the dance for Thursday, August 9, with Sirius Band, Gèminis and Tomeu Penya, and the one for Friday 10, Sant Llorenç's day, with Pedregats, Fes-te Fotre and Sopa de Cabra. It is also worth mentioning the fair "I Fira des Cavall Nocturna", with all sorts of material related to horses, traditional tools, exhibitions and performances, that will take place on Saturday, August 11, as from 7 p.m.; and the night race "VII Cursa Popular Nocturna", that will take place on Monday, August 13, followed by a big party at the Town Hall square, with foam, music, dancing and showers.

On Tuesday night, August 14, there will be a concert by Beatles Tribute and Melon Diesel, and on Wednesday, August 15, theatre by the group Esqueix Teatre.
