"Bona Taula" at the Arta Fair

The Artà Town Council is presenting the programme of the Fair with the slogan "Els millors plats per firar bé i divertir-se" ("The best dishes for going to the fair and having a good time") and following a structure that simulates the format of a menu.

As "starters" they propose a conference about rural development, on Thursday evening 6 Sept; and the opening of different exhibitions, together with the recital by the composer singer Ismael Serrano, for Friday 7.

As the "first course", on Saturday 8, amongst other activities there will be a horse exhibition, the last concert of the Festival Música Clàssica Antoni Lliteres, the alternative fair "live will without doing evil" and the performance by Suso Reixach. The "trimmings" of the dish for Saturday are the different exhibitions, particularly "La Cuina de Miquel Barceló" that can be visited until September 31 at the Casa de Cultura de na Batlessa.

The "main course" on the menu is Sunday September 9, the day of the Fair, that once again starts at 8 a.m. with an exhibition of animals, vehicles, implements and tools of all kinds.

The "dessert" for the programme are the events to be held on 13, 14 and 15: the conference "Glosses i cançons de picat" on Thursday 13; the popular cultural night on Friday 14 and the popular race, intercultural dinner and exhibition of traditional dances on Saturday 15.
