Sustainability: What is it and how do we measure it?
This coming February 5, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sa Nostra Cultural Centre in Palma there will be the day "Sostenibilitat: Què és i com la mesuram?", when a group of experts will deal with the meaning of sustainability and how we can measure the progress or regression of an economy towards sustainability.

This is the first day, of the six monotopics programmed, of the Forum for Sustainability of the Balearics, a debating area promoted by the Council of Environment of the Balearic Government and directed by the 33 people who make up the Consulting Committee for the Sustainability of the Balearics (CASIB).  The final objective of the Forum is the creation of a Plan of Action which will collect the proposals and initiatives that occur during the six days.

The attendance is free, but needs prior inscription.

The other five days programmed by the Forum will take place on April 2, May 28, July 9, October 1 and November 19.
