3rd Record Fair in Mallorca

On April 27 and 28, in the Trading estate in Palma the third edition of the "Fira del Disc" will take place, organised by the cultural association Ensaïmada Musical and the shop RunaWay Records, with the support of the Balearic Government, the Mallorcan Insular Council and the Palma Town Council.

The Fair will comprise some hundred and thirty exhibitors from the Islands, the Spanish mainland, Europe, America and Japan, who will sell CDs, LPs, instruments, clothes, books, etc. There will also be a photographic exhibition dedicated to the Rock'n'Roll Circus, two stages for performances by Sidonie, No Children, Mike Kennedy de Los Bravos, Neo Tokio, Sexy Sadie, Yum Yums, Freeheat, Backyard Babies, Blind Panic, Fyng Dog, Madelfunk!, Pregnant Dolls, Infrasonica DJ'S, Polidor, Taner V, Ambos Lados and Doctor Martin Clavo; and a radio studio to record and live connections; and finally a great auction of objects relating to the world of music.

More over, the Fair will include the award ceremony of the prizes Balears Sona, for Balearic musicians and bands, and on May 3 and 4, at the Sala Sonotone, there will be the I.O.M Weekend. This is a mod festival with performances by Aftermad and Brighton 64, amongst others.
