Presentation of the "Factoria de Músics" and Sa Rocketa 2002

The Trading Estate of Son Llaüt in Santa Maria del Camí will hold next Saturday, October 5, the macroconcert "Sa Rocketa Festival 2002", organised by the Department of Culture and Youth of the Consell de Mallorca and the association Factoria de So –that administers the houses in Son Llaüt– with the collaboration of the Santa Maria Town Council.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. with the presentation of the "Factoria de Músics" and its teachers –Tolo Grimalt (guitar), Toni Miranda (guitar), Sebas Raimundo (Keyboard), Quim Gironell (drums and percussion), Kino Martínez (guitar) and Miquel Ferrà (bass and double bass)– who will give an open rehearsal, explaining amongst other thinks the role of the different instruments.

Then the 24 new groups from Mallorca that will participate in this second edition of the festival will perform: Joc Fora, Tanaka Nagashi, Creatures Room, Com tu, Invitro, Txorrak, Circo Es3 Urbano, D-Let, No One Else, Ben Trempats, Delay, Destroys'r'us, Ke Reggae Ska, Fulgura, El 38, The Little Kiss, Trash Out, Emerald Planet, Es Blavets de Bonany, Ubikacion, NMD, Helevorn, Doctor Manhatan and Llibertat Condicional.

Sa Roqueta will also include performances by the Tamborers de la Factoria de So and the invited groups Mártires del Compás and Doctor Calypso. There will also be different workshops, stands by entities, meals, camping areas... The entrance is free.
