Algaida Fair 2002

Algaida is preparing to celebrate the "Fira de Tardor 2002" that will take place next Saturday, October 12. The fair will include all kind of agricultural, industrial and artisan products; a varied exhibition of animals and carts. Opposite the Casal, there will be the "Fireta Alternativa", with information on humanity, cultural and conservation initiatives and products for a responsible consumption. The programme also includes the exhibition "Un recorregut pel Marroc" at the local Obra Cultural Balear and an exhibition organised by the Agrupació Fotogràfica d'Algaida at the Casal Pere Capellà.

There will be a concert by the Orfeó Castellitx, at 6.30 p.m. in the Church and a popular dance in the square as from 10 p.m. with music by the group Quart Creixent.

The activities organised around the fair will end on October 18 with the pipe smokers meeting "IV Fumada lenta en pipa" at 10 p.m. in the Cafè de sa Plaça.
