The castellers fiestas start

Another year, coinciding with the end of the tourist season, the groups of human castles of Mallorca are preparing to celebrate their most important festive days.

The first fiesta will be by the Castellers de Mallorca, on Saturday, October 19 in Palma, and will have the participation of the guest groups Minyons de Terrassa and Al·lots de Llevant. The programme includes workshops in the Plaza Major at 11 a.m., street parade from the Plaza Espanya to Cort at 6 p.m. and castles in the Plaza de Cort at 7 p.m. with music and a popular dance by Herbes Dolces in the plaza de Santa Eulàlia as from 9 p.m.

The second castellera fiesta will be by the Al·lots de Llevant, on Saturday 26 in Manacor. The guest groups will be the Xiquets de Reus and the Castellers de Mallorca.
