Activities in the "Illa de Llibres" for December

The "Illa de Llibres" of the CIPCEM, situated in the transparent building of the Misericòrdia Cultural Centre in Palma has presented the following activities for December:

Thursday 5 at 8 p.m.
Presentation of the book "Cant que s'interroga" (Ed. El Tall), by Vicenç Calonge. The presentation will be by Joan Fullana, the author and the illustrator of the book, the artist Dolores Sampol. The presentation will end with a drink in the gallery Altair in calle Sant Jaume where the original illustrations are exhibited.

Tuesday 10 at 8.30 p.m.
Tribute to the poet Blai Bonet by Lluís Servera, Vicenç Calonge and Antoni Vidal Ferrando.

Saturday 14 a 11.30 p.m.
Within the Christmas Campaign of s'Altra Senalla, videos related to fair trade and the economical situation of the developing countries, and at 1 p.m., African stories by Víctor.

Monday 16 at 8 p.m.
Opening of the exhibition of originals from the "Auca del Rei en Jaume". It will remain open until January 7.

Wednesday 18 at 8.30 p.m.
Presentation of the book "Camí de Kazakhstan i altres narracions" (Ed. Documenta Balear), by Josep Noguerol.

Free entrance.
