Fifteen artistic manifestations in the Capdepera Competition

After organising the Capdepera Painting Competition for 11 years, the Town Council of this town on the East coast of Mallorca, has made the effort to be part of the Vanguard Arts on the island, giving way to all artistic manifestations via the "1st Capdepera Competition of Plastic Arts 2002".

The fifteen proposals selected in the Competition go from photography to sculpture passing through video, digital printing, ceramics and embroidery. The authors of the works are Paz Alcoverro, Bàrbara Juan, Cati Aguiló, Concha Romeu, Alícia Gispert, Aina Perelló, Fabian Schalekap, Rosa Mascaró, Rafel Adrover, SASAI, Ramón Company, Miquel Monjo-Alícia Camuñas, Rafel Perelló, Mercedes Laguens and Esther Olondriz.

A select group of the latest tendencies in art on the Islands, that can be visited in the exhibition hall of Can Creu d'Inca (Carrer Ciutat, 12 in Capdepera) from December 10 to January 10, every day from 5.30 to 7.30 p.m.
