Visit the Natural Park of s'Albufera!

The Parque Natural de s'Albufera has been holding informative activities since November, open to the public and that are in the autumn programme "Acosta't al Parc Natural de s'Albufera". Guided visits, a children's treasure hunt and an interpretative cycle itinerary are some of the immediate proposals.

Last Saturday there was a demonstration of eel fishing by Miquel "Forner" from Sa Pobla. Those attending –amongst whom were representatives of the media "Revista Sa Plaça" from Sa Pobla, "Ultima Hora" and "Diari de Balears", plus the photographers Miquel A. Dora, Sebastià Torrens and Diego Villalonga (video)– enjoyed an unforgettable time with Miquel "Forner", his way of explaining things and the traditional art of fishing which impressed and instructed them. The programme of activities continues next Saturday 7 with a guided visit for the general public. The meeting point is the Reception Centre in the Park and the visits will take place between 10 a.m. and noon in groups of up to 20 people.

The rest of the activities to be held are the following:

Friday, December 13:
Slide show on the educational use of the Albufera Natural Park.
Meeting point: Reception Centre of the Park, Sa Roca.
Time: 8.30 p.m.

Saturday, December 14:
Guided visit for the general public.
Meeting point: Reception Centre of the Park, Sa Roca.
Time: 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
Maximum 20 people per group

Saturday December 21:
Interpretative cycle itinerary round the park.
Meeting point: Reception Centre of the Park, Sa Roca.
Time: 10 a.m.
Lasting 3 hours. Route - no difficulty.
Maximum 15 people per group

Saturday December 28:
Entertaining activity in the park: Treasure hunt "Vine a jugar a s'Albufera".
Meeting point: Reception Centre of the Park, Sa Roca.
Time: 11 a.m.
Lasting 2 hours.
Maximum 15 youngsters between 8 and 13.

Every Thursday:
Guided visits for entities from the district of the Natural Park.
