"Et diré sempre la veritat", the first proposal of the cycle Stages of the World
Next Tuesday, January 14, the cultural programme Escenaris del Món promoted by the Council of Tourism of the Balearic Government will start with the play "Et diré sempre la veritat".

This first theatrical proposal can be seen at the Teatre del Mar from January 14 to 19, at the Teatre des Born in Ciutadella on Menorca on January 21, at the Teatre de Vilafranca on the 22nd, at the Teatre Sa Societat in Calvia on the 23rd and the Teatre de Manacor on 24th.

"Et diré sempre la veritat" is a monologue by Lluís Homar, well known protagonist actor of the Teatre Lliure in Barcelona. Homar transforms his vast stage experience in an intelligent, amusing show, full of sensibility, with a personal vision of the theatre.

The festival Escenaris del Món also arrives with more shows in other theatrical areas of the islands, such as the Teatre Sans, the Autoridum and the Auditorium of the Palma Conservatory; the Teatre de Artà, the Auditorium of Alcudia, the cultural area Can Ventosa on Eivissa and the Teatre Principal in Maó.  The programme of shows, that will last until May 3, includes also:  "Las Manos" by the Companyia Cuarta Pared, "Celobert" by David Hare, "Tronats" by Estudi Zero Teatre and "Escenes d'una execució", written by Howard Barker and adapted by Quim Monzó.
