Exhibition dedicated to Catalan books

The exhibition hall of Fires i Congressos will hold from February 14 to 23 the 14th edition of the "Setmana del Llibre en Català", promoted by the Gremi de Llibreters de Mallorca, the Insular Council and the Government.

Book presentations, conferences, poetry readings, story telling by puppets and several exhibitions are some of the proposals that comprise the programme. Comics will also have an outstanding presence in the fair, and as a novelty, the magazine Esquitx and the "Setmana del Llibre en Català" have organised a drawing activity for children that will be held throughout the week, where they will have to illustrate their favourite story.
