The great mime, Marcel Marceau, retires from the stage

After 50 years career, Marcel Marceau, universally acclaimed as the world's greatest mime, is retiring from the stage in July with a show that will form part of the Athens Festival. But before, when he is about to be 80, he will make a tour of Spain that will bring him to the Auditorium in Palma next Monday, February 24.

The farewell show is called "The best of Marcel Marceau" and offers a two hour trip via the so called pantomimes of style and pantomimes of Bip, the charming character that has accompanied him throughout his mythical career.
