Coinciding with the celebration of the
Balearics'
Day, on March 1, in La Llotja in Palma, the exhibition "20 Anys d'Estatut.
Una gent, un temps, un país" opened, organised by the
Balearic
government to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the
Statute
of the Autonomous Community of the Balearics.
The exhibition, that can be visited until March 31, is a chronology
that summarizes the evolution of the autonomy, a film about the basic concepts
of the Balearic identity, a space with twenty showcases that represent
the axis that sustain the Balearic society, the composition "Una gent,
un temps, un país" comprising photographs taken by press photographers
and a computer network with games and documents available for the public.
The entrance is free and the visiting times are from Monday to Sunday from
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Mondays from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
To complement the exhibition, several presentations, conferences and
round tables have been organised that will continue until March 31. The
