Agricultural and animal fair in Son Ferriol

Tomorrow, the activities of the "XI Fira Agrícola i Ramadera" and the "VI Fira d'Animals de Caça" will start in Son Ferriol, organised by the Associació d'Agricultors i Ramaders de Sa Part Forana de Palma, with the support from the Town Council.

The programme of events, that will last until March 30, includes a wide variety of activities, such as workshops, presentations, exhibitions by local artists, sports competitions.... The majority of the events are to be held on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30, starting first with the markets and exhibitions, and ending the days with music and dancing.

As for the programme for Saturday 29, worth mentioning are the traditional market, competition of linking horses to carriages, sheep dog trials, and in the evening the performance by Madó Pereta.

On Sunday 30, there will be exhibitions of autochthonous and exotic animals, dogs, commercial stands, machinery, horse exhibitions and children's games, amongst other activities. To end, as from 10 p.m. there will be a grand fiesta with fireworks and music by Oh-Palma Brasil.
