From March 14 to 23 in the Fairs Pavilion in Palma, "Antic Art", the
IX Antique and Art Fair will take place, organised by
Fires
i Congressos de Balears. The fair will have 2.000 square metres exhibition
area, and participation similar to the last edition. The sectors represented
are Antique dealers, Auctioneers, Restorers, Art Galleries and Collectors.
Antic Art 2003 has the objective to reach the maximum quality of products
that are exhibited, and also to maintain a high level of commerce obtained
in previous editions and that has placed it amongst the most important
fairs in Spain in its category.
During the fair, a cycle of conferences will take place in the conference
hall of the fair. On Tuesday March 18 at 7 p.m. "Embroidery, art and culture"
by Maria Dolores Villa Tejero; on Wednesday March 19 at the same time.
"Ceramics of Mallorca throughout history" by Guillem Rosselló Bordoy
and finally on Thursday March 20, also at the same time, "The origins of
navigation and its instruments" by Manuel Rives Blanco.
Visiting times from 11.30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Entrance 4,2€.
