Popular subscription to pay the GOB's fine

The Ministerio de Interior has confirmed the fine of 11.697 euros imposed on the GOB by Catalina Cirer, at the time the delegate of the Central Government in the Balearics and now the candidate of the Partido Popular for the Town Council of Palma, because of the action by a dozen members of the ecological organisation last year who chained themselves to the machines that were carrying out the artificial regeneration of the beach at Can Picafort.

The GOB has started a popular subscription to face the payment of the fine, as if they do not pay it within 30 days, the Ministry can embargo the property of the 12 members of the GOB who symbolically stopped the work. More information can be found on this web page published by the GOB.
