From March 17 to 21, the
III
Certamen de cutmetratges de Ficció in Catalan will take place
in the Sa Nostra Cultural Centre in Palma, organised by the General Direction
of Linguistic Policy of the Council of Education and Culture of the Balearic
Government. The programmed events, with free entrance, are the following:
Monday March 17 at 8 p.m. the actor and theatre director, Àngel
Llàcer, popular for his participation in Operación Triunfo,
will give an interpretation class, on Tuesday March 18, the film "El senyor
dels anells (Lord of the Rings) 1st Part, followed by a round table on
mass films, and on March 19 and 20 at 8 p.m. and March 21 at 7.30 the projection
of the selected short films and prize giving.
The first prize is for 3,000 euros and the second for 1,500 euros.
The winning works will be shown later on Eivissa, Felanitx and Mancor and
on a chain of local television. Moreover a copy will be deposited in the
Arxiu del So i de la Imatge of Mallorca.
