Spanish visions by Tadeusz Kantor

Spanish visions by Tadeusz Kantor
The Centre Cultural Contemporani Pelaires, situated in the calle Verí in Palma, is holding from March 18  an exhibition of the "Spanish visons" by Tadeusz Kantor.

Tadeusz Kantor, Polish born in Krakow, visited Spain several times in the 80's and 90's, and this provoked in him the need of creating and recreating the images that captivated him, such as the Bellver Castle or the Cathedral of Barcelona.

The artist uses a wide variety of techniques and materials, such as canvas, paper and board supports, and acrylic and oil paints. Kantor, fascinated by the work of Gaudí, Velázquez, Goya and Cervantes, and this interest was mirrored in his art: painting, theatre sets and performances.

Thus, the Centre Cultural Contemporani Pelaires, offers until April 21 the chance to see with Tadeusz Kantor eyes a fascinated mirror of Spanish most universal culture.
