The Centre Cultural de Ca n'Apol·lònia in Son Carrió
(
Sant Llorenç des Cardassar)
is holding until June 30, 2003, an exhibition by the artist Guillem Nadal
(Sant Llorenç, 1957).
Guillem Nadal presents in this exhibition 14 works on paper using mixed
techniques and a composition formed by three big paintings on canvas. The
artist exhibited for the first time in 1985 in the art gallery Sa Pleta
Freda in Son Servera and since then he has participated in many individual
and group exhibitions, and his work has become part of important collections.
The Cultural Centre Ca n'Apol·lònia was first opened seven
years ago, after an important restoration of one of the first houses that
formed, at the beginning of the XX century, what would become the village
of Son Carrió. The cultural space opens its doors to the public
once every year to show the works of well known artists, such as Manuel
Broto, Jim Bird, Josep Guinovart, Albert Ràfols Casamada,
Xavier
Grau and
José
María Sicilia.
