Concert by Suzanne Vega in the fiestas for Sant Joan in Muro

Theatre and music performances, together with many other sports and cultural activities, will take place in Muro, until June 27, to celebrate the fiestas of Sant Joan.

As for music, worth stressing is the concert by Suzanne Vega, on Monday, June 23, at 10.30 p.m., in the square of the church. The concert is free and will include a performance by the local band Contrapunt. The day after, Tuesday 24, at 7 p.m., in the same square, there will be a concert by the Unió Artística Murera , and at 8.30 p.m., in the Cloister of the Convent, a concert of classical music performed by the Conservatori Superior de Música de les Illes Balears.

As for theatre, there are several proposals: on Monday 23 at 7 p.m. in the municipal library, "La flor romanial" by Maria Rosa Roig; on Tuesday 24 at 10:30 p.m. in the square of the church, "Fot qui fot", by Companyia de teatre Xesc Forteza; and on Friday 27, at 8 p.m., in the Municipal Theatre, "L'amor de les tres taronges" by Lluna Nova.
