Festival Isladencanta 2003

After the two first editions held in Esporles and after last year's edition in Magaluf, the fourth Festival Isladencanta changes venue again and will take place in the Poliesportiu Sant Ferran in Palma on July 4 and 5. The festival, organised before by the association Isladencanta and as from now by Fona Artists, is sponsored by the Govern de les Illes Balears, Consell de Mallorca, Ajuntament de Palma and several companies and mass media.

Within the musical area of the Festival, there will be performances by the American singer Iggy Pop, the British band Primal Scream, the Spanish groups Deluxe, Los Planetas and Ojos de Brujo, the Spanish singer La Mala Rodríguez, the Mallorcan bands Sexy Sadie, No Children, The Nash, Glycerine and The Zinedines, as well as the DJ's Virus Collective, Ángel Costa, Isaac Indart and The Infrasonic Society.

Coinciding with the celebration of their 30 anniversary, the GOB will participate in this edition of the Festival organising a fair of stands by the most important social, cultural and humanitarian organisations from the Islands.
