The Sala Gran of the Cultural Centre Sa Nostra in the calle Concepció
in Palma is housing until November 29, 2003 the exhibition "De l'art a
camp obert a l'art urbà" by the American plastic artist,
Dennis
Oppenheim (Electric City, Washington, 1938), one of the most outstanding
figures in conceptual art. The work by Dennis Oppenheim is well known on
Mallorca since 1999, when he installed in the Porta de Santa Catalina in
Palma the sculpture called "Device to Root out Evil", because of the Students
Olympics.
Meanwhile, the Sala de Paper of the cultural centre is housing until
October 31, 2003 the
exhibition
"Ciutats" by the photographer Mario de Ayguavives.
The entrance is free and the visiting times are from Monday to Friday
from 10.30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
